GCJRC Greater Chicago Junior Rowing Championships

UNTIL

GREATER CHICAGO JUNIOR ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP

Regatta starts at 8am until beginning of afternoon

Services

The Crystal Lake Rowing Club hosts the Greater Chicago Junior Rowing Championships on the 1st Sunday of May.  The regatta's purpose is to hold a Chicagoland championship that leads up to the Midwest Junior Rowing Championships and Midwest Scholastic Championships, however out of state programs are welcome as well.

We will have a total of 12 teams.  This is driven by space at Main Beach and a schedule of 2 heats maximum per event.  The seven local programs get an automatic slot, the remaining 5 will go to whoever registers first.  If any Chicagoland program wishes not to participate, then it will be open to any team requesting registration.

"All were merged into one smoothly working machine; they were, in fact, a poem of motion, a symphony of swinging blades."
